Realize

When first posting the Hanabi video I had full intentions of creating another opening video to fit with the second part of the Code Geass series. Sadly, I couldn’t seem to find something to blend well with the material at my disposal (the O2 and World End openings). I tried using a song similar to that of Hanabi, but had no luck. I did not want to use another song from the Bleach anime, so I plunged into bigger waters looking for the right fit.
Last Friday, on October 16th, I had realized that it had been a year since posting my ‘first’ video here on YouTube. At that time I had put off the creation of this video, something I had been doing for quite a while. When this feeling sat in I finally decided to get the ball rolling and dig through the many songs I had to get a good image in my mind. Instead of “stumbling” upon a good song, like I did with Hanabi, I took the different route of nailing one out of the wood-work. Finally I came to a decision with Realize. I purchased an Eureka Seven OST this past June and found the song from there. I didn’t (and still don’t to this writing) know when or where the song was used in the Eureka Seven anime, but seeing as how it is from Flow, I knew it had to be good.
One difference between this and the Hanabi video is that this is more of an “upbeat” theme compared to the “mysterious” one found in Hanabi. You can tell this just by looking at the four openings from the anime. To me, Lelouch of the Rebellion dealt more with character interaction while R2 focused more on Knightmare combat and the like. This is just my two cents, so it shouldn’t be looked into that much.
Hope you enjoy this LONG description over the SHORT video that was posted. I do intend on having more works soon, so please do stick around.
